I have been a long time lurker on numerous forums. I am a NW4 with little to no hairline, and a thinning crown. I have narrowed my choices down to Hasson and Wong and Dr. Feller. I am thinking I need roughly 4000 grafts to get back to where I want to be.

I have all but made the decision, I guess I just have cold feet. Is there anything that could go wrong that I should be worried about?? I am just nervous.

Those are both good doctors, and I consulted with Dr. Feller once, almost booking a procedure with him. You should be aware, if you aren't, of the FUE procedure I hope before you make the decision to have strip surgery which you would get at Hasson & Wong and most likely at Dr. Feller's. You can still get a good result but for some guys, the scar and the intense post-op recovery turns out to be more than they bargained for.

I would research 6 months minimum before deciding to have it done. You have narrowed it down to two of the better doctors in the field today.

I would definitely check out as many Drs as you can.  Personally I wouldnt be going for strip.  As a surgery technique fue is so much less intrusive, recovery is alot quicker and less painful.  You should talk to Pat who is a moderator on here and has had both fue and strip.  Many others have also but youll find Pat here.

Good luck with which ever you decide.  As far as strip goes I think the guys you are thinking of are good.  If you are thinking Fue then Id go with Dr Armani who these days only does fue and who does in my opinion the best hairlines in the biz.

What did you think of Dr. Feller. Did you have a procedure with him?

I wasn't that impressed with his patient results although there have been some since then that I think are pretty good. I also wasn't that confident in his FUE, from comparing his thoughts about the procedure with other FUE doctors I had spoken to.

With the results Dr Armani & Sara Armani have been consistently producing with FUE, I would really recommend that you consider them & the advantages FUE can offer

Dan is right... i would consider Armani. He will do anything for the patient and you will be in good hands

Proscar 1.25mg
Nizoral 3x
Rogaine 2x

Armani 3029 strip
MHR 1740 strip

Thanks for the info guys but I have decided on Hasson and Wong. I am planning on having my procedure over the summer. What is some advice you veterans can give me?

H & W is a good HT clininc. It also ranks in the top along with Armani and a couple of others. It's a decision that nobody can take but you. Good luck
