In my experience of treating my hairloss I've found that whenever I would get lax on my daily routine I would suffer more hairloss. Fortunately after being more disciplined my hair would re-thicken most times after several months. I'm not referring to drastic regrowth but getting thin hairs to grow a little thicker and this keeping them from miniaturizing completely.

Yeah I agree, it can be hard sometimes to stay committed when you don't see immediate results. Sticking with a routine/regime for at least 3-4 months is a bare minimum. Trying to keep journals or notes on when you started the regime can help. Photo evidence is also a big help as sometimes people can have rose tinted views on what their hair was like.
