Hello

Many people I talk with do not truly know the difference between strip and FUE, or what a strip scar looks like. I decided to post a few photos of mine with my head shaved down completely and shaved down to a #1 guard.

Now I am not saying strip does not produce good results and I am not saying I regret my strip procedure that I had with Dr. Armani, I got truly amazing results that changed my life and my strip scar is one of the best I have seen, my hats off to Dr. Armani for my results. But I do think people who have a strip procedure should see what they will look like in the back for the rest of their days....

In the photo below my strip scar is clearly visible at a 1 guard.

Thanks for posting Pat.  Im sure it will make a few people think twice about getting a stip procedure.

I think its definitely nice if you can have the option of being able to wear your hair long or short.  Not to mention the longer recovery etc that strip incurs.

I agree....it is nice to have the option of wearing hair short and no scar. I much prefer FUE over strip. Not to mention it's alot less painful!

Thats a pretty thin stip scar. Does it show at all through your hair?

I have to keep my hair a few inches ling to hide it. Lukily I have real thick donor hair so it's not much of a problem for me.

Pats, I have never shaved my head down since I had my HT,. I can cut my hair down to a quarter inch or go swimming and not see it. It does bother me at times knowing I could not shave it down any more without seeing that scar. My HT growth has been awesome. The only thing I would change if I could would be the procedure. I would only consider FUE now, not strip.
