| How much is the normal procedure? I had a quote with Bosley last week for about 5,000 dollars. I am wondering how this compares to the other top doctors? I don't want to get ripped off.

| I think the standard price going now a days is 5 dollars a graft for Strip and 7-8 dollars a graft for FUE.

| Prices vary between Drs so best at mininimum to call around. Also remember that the price is just one part of the process. Make sure to do your research, look at as many of each prospective Drs patient photos as you can so you can have a good idea of what they can achieve. You dont want to go to the cheapest guy on the block and maybe regret it the rest of your life because the final result was not what you hoped for. I have seen many many photos of guys that were butchered and Im sure wish to be bald again rather than have the abnormal looking or butchered scalp they have now.

| More important than the price in my opinion is that on the many forums that I have frequented I dont see too many Bosley recommendations. So make sure to shop around before just going with say the slick marketing of Bosley. Good Luck with it all.

| This is probably the most important concept I can stress on this forum. DO NOT let the cost of your transplant deter you from going with the best. I had a transplant in the UK & was butchered & it cost me 1/5 of what I paid for my 2nd procedure with Dr Armani who was worth every single penny.
