I had a female coleague of mine that was terrified with hairloss but did not know what to do or where to go for help. For them it's far more embarrassing than it is for men to speak about or discuss their thei hairloss or hair thinning issues.

The best advice I can give woman is to persistantly research the internet.  Forums like these are loaded with an unlimited amount of knowledge.  Join forums (they're not only for men), ask questions, and do your research. Majority and many of the forum memebers are very honest and will very much unlikely lead you astray; not to mention they'reare far more learned about hairloss than your family doctors - but ALWAYS inform the doctor of what you want to take before you take it.

Also a woman with hairloss should consult a top HT doc, not necessarily to get a HT, but to get some knowledge of what can be done. General doctors and dermatologists really don't have much clue when it comes to this.
