Right now I am about a month out from a mprocedure with Hasson and Wong, I hope to have the same success story that all of you have had soon!! Just waiting for mine to grow in.

I can add the same story as you guys.
My hairloss started at the age of 18. I waited and waited year by year and had the hope the the thinning of my hair will stop one day. But it did not. Then I married, built a house, was very busy in my job. But hte hairloss was like a big pain in my soul. In 2003 a start my research about HT and the possibilities of HT.
What clinic is famous for their result and can proof.
So I found out, that the surgeons in Germany are not up to date, regarding the density. So I found Armani clinic in Toronto and send them fotos. In August 2004 I made my first appointment to start the process of filling the bald areas in zone 1, 2 and 4.
Since that time I never regret my decision. Also my family doctor is impressed of that good job.
I was there 6 month after my first surgery. He was enthustastic and want me to give him the name of the surgeon. If any other patient come with hair problems to him, he will recommend this clinic. Now I was already 4 oder 5 times since that at my family doctor. Every time he sees me, he says the same sentence: Please let me have a look to your hair. Then he feels with his hands through my hair. "Looks very natural", he always says. "Never thought that this is possible today".

My sex life hasnt improved. :cool: But 5 years marriage does that to ya. But I definitely feel better in general.

Especially after a swim at the beach, as before when my hair was wet you could really tell where I was losing my hair. Now I was even told by a friend how I should put some wet gel in and slick it back because it looked good wet.

I used to get really P#!ssed Off every time I would have a shower and have to restyle my hair each time slightly different because it was getting slightly thinner each month. Now after minox, finest and a transplant I am alot happier in general and dont really think about my hair that much, so its a good thing as Martha Stewart would say.:)

I got a hair transplant at 27, probably the best decision ever. I thought I was going to have buyers remorse but actually glad that I made the investment. It's crazy the difference it makes in your life. From the point I got my transplant to now I've had so much more confidence in myself and many more looks from the ladies as in 'who's your friend' when I hang out with friends of friends. Not only that, but I started going out more and have been totally more comfortable talking to people and just my overall appearance/confidence. Because of that, I've been able to network much better now focusing on conversations instead of worrying about people looking at my receeding hairline. I ended up getting a job that paid 40% more and here I am, a much happier individual! I would definitely recommend it, you deserve it people!!

That is a great story...I can only imagine how happy you felt when you heard the compliment about your hair. I had a similar situation recently when I was at my local bank the other day. I visit there quite often and a teller making conversation with me noted on my hair and said "it looks great". She sees me in there several times a week and noticed that it looks different and like the way it was styled as of late. It made me feel so satisfied and content. After all these years worrying about my hair and wearing hats, I am finally getting compliments on my hair now!

In July, 2006 I flew to Toronto and had a 4055 graft HT into my frontal1/3 with Dr. Armani. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding my hair. I went from being a norwood 5 to a guy with a nice full looking head of hair.

leong19, you were looking for positive stories. I have many, and today I will share a recent one with you. There is a man in his early forties that just started working at our local gas bar. Now many of us that have had HT's or spend tome on Hair transplant forums are considered hair geeks. We notice things about people hair, that other people would never notice. Anyway this guy at the gas bar has this full main of long hair. I was convinced that this guy had some type of hair system, because it is rare that a guy that age would have such a full head of hair. This dude had a full head of hairx10. So I walk in there last week and the guy is sporting a brush cut. I am floored. I would have bet money that the guy was wearing a wig. So I told the guy that for a while there I thought he was wearing a wig as I thought his hair was way to thick. The guy just laughed and then looked at me and said that he thought I had a pretty full looking head of hair as well. I just smiled and said Thanks man. As I was walking to my car I just smiled and though, oh man if you only new.

For me, my procedure with Dr Armani in 2004 changed my life.. for about 2 year prior to it, I was allways really paranoid about my hair & what people thought of it & how much I hated looking in the mirror.. I allways wore a baseball cap in public..

My transplant result gave me so much confidence & I was then able to enjoy my life without allways thinking about how my hair looked all the time

Definately the most positive thing in my life so far.

I totally agree. Getting hair transplants was one of the best things I did for myself...worth every penny! I also agree that choosing the right surgeon is of utmost importance. I have had procedures at a couple of different clinics. I have to say my best experience by far was at the Armani clinic in Toronto. The results have been amazing but also the care and attention to detail that I received there have been unmatched. I also was really pleased with the post-op care at the Armani clinic.

Hey Leon,

I also had a procedure with Armani 10 months ago and it really does change the way you look and feel about yourself. As all bald men know, losing your hair really makes you self conscious.

Only 10 months in and I feel more confident when meeting new people and how I look in photographs.

I also want to say that choosing the right surgeon is extremely important. You want to make sure you are in great hands before getting a HT. There are many benefits for having a HT, just make sure you pick the right doctor. Free consultations are always a good way to go.

Yes, I did have one 6 months ago. I know you are still in the research phase of the process but I just want to tell you that the best thing you can do is find a highly regarded clinic/surgeon. This makes a huge difference.

I went with Dr. Armani, who has several offices in the U.S., Toronto, etc...and he did an amazing job on my hair. It still has a about 6 months left to grow but it looks great. I couldn't be happier.

I was just starting a post to share positive experiences of hair transplants that people have had. I am in month 6 of a hair transplant by Dr. Armani and feel great. I'm realizing the positive effects a HT can have on your emotional well being and overall self confidence. It can give you back a piece of your life that may gave gone away when you started losing your hair.

I am curious to hear some other people that have had similar feelings. Please feel free to share some positives stories regarding your HT.
