You will be left with ROUGHLY 1.25 mg per dosage/pill.  You're almost guaranteed that the pill will crumb and/or chip off here and there so there's room for play and imperfection. I always take a quarter, using my pill splitter. &lt;br&gt;I think, it was the intention of the pill producer to give the tablet such an awful shape, to make it difficult to split into 4 equal pieces. So the splitting causes pieces of 0,9 mg to 1,5 mg per quarter. So I get no continous equal supply of Finasterid.
